Slowly heat the coffee over a low flame, heat the coffee up to near-boiling. Remove the coffee off the heat before it boils over and allow it to cool down for about 20 seconds; Put the pot back on the heat and bring the coffee back up to the same near-boiling point once more. Again remove it from heat and allow to cool.
Basics. Cezve is a name for a small coffee pot with a long handle which is used for preparing Arabic and Turkish coffees. Here are a few pictures (which I had to rip off, since the originals tend to move; the images are linked to the original sites):
Use one heaping spoon of grounds per cup. Grounds are often mixed with cardamom, but don't have to be. Grounds should be extremely fine, almost like cocoa powder. If not super fine, it is okay, it will just be slightly more towards cowboy coffee. If sugar is desired, one spoon of sugar per cup.
