Trade skill allows them to make more money. Scouting skill allows them to move faster, and avoid enemies more easily. Steward isn't necessary, since they have a fixed party size. *Where* you form the caravan matters a lot. In Aserai or Khuzait lands, they'll be chased down by fast desert or steppe bandits.

Make sure to have decent companions leading the caravans, preferably ones who aren’t going to siphon funds/profit away. (Honest personalities). Also they’ve been making great money for me, a few hundred denari profit a day, or a single 100 denari pile on a bad day. The first few days after forming are a loss though.

For players who are into the caravan lifestyle in Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord, then this is also a must. Locations like Husn Fulq offer a good way to mark up the price of pottery due to travel
Having trouble with passive income. Greetings fellow raiders, I've been playing Warband for a long time and money making in it is quite easy. But I've started playing Bannerlord couple of days ago and noticed that almost every thing that brought bunch of money in Warband is nerfed here. I've searched bunch of guides for making money and almost

Spray Feb 21, 2022 @ 6:41pm. Constantly going bankrupt please help. Hi, I haven't played the game in over a year and thought I would give it another try and I'm so confused. I'm about a year in and I'm just constantly running out of money. I have a castle, a workshop, a winery, 2 caravans and I'm still losing 1500-2000 a turn. Delete "Birke" folder from module folder. In game starters mod selection window choose "SimpleBank" mode. Make sure tosave old save file in case there would be problems with money saved in your account. Make sure you dont run BOTH "Birke" and "SimpleBank" at the same time! Fixed a bug due to new save/load handling. And she did not train one xp of Trade. Yet the stipulation for training it in the description is run caravans. But.. early access.. they have fixed a number of things as is. I will allow myself to hope they can deliver the game we have been waiting years to play. The amount of money companion parties can make can get through the roof. The person running the caravan does matter. I prefer companions who are focussed in trade, scout, riding, tactics and medicine. The perks in these skills help out caravans the most. And I dont really focus on weapon skills, since the companion is only there to run the caravan. It's not like he's going to clutch a 30 vs 300 fight In the dialogue, choose the option “I wish to form a caravan in this town“. The NPC will mention that it will cost 15,000 dinars. There’s an option for 22,500 with enhanced security, so if you can afford it, feel free to choose it. Next, select the companion who will head the caravan. After this, the caravan will start earning money for you.
Caravan is being led by a companion with 80 trade skills (and scouting). The issue is that caravan only makes money every once in a long long while. Most of the time it doesn't take wages and doesn't make income and hence does not show up on ledger. I think the issue might be that caravan is only breaking even on a daily basis.

Yeah these are great, I liked getting paid 3x for a caravan escort mission as a mercenary (first from the battle winnings and loot, then from the caravan organizer for the mission, then for the influence won in the battle from your mercenary employer).
The medicine perk at level 275 adds 0.5HP / (lvl - 200) to every unit in the party, and it does not work for surgeons - only party leaders. Don't bother putting points in Trade. It is annoying to level and money isn't an issue mid-game. More on this later. Companion perks: The companion limit is around 10, not including family, so plan accordingly. The subreddit for all things dedicated to Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord. I wanna buy a side business that makes the most money because last time I had this much Trade can be a way to make money. Find an area, and visit the cities in said area. Then, go to one of them and hover over the various trade goods to see what can be bought or sold cheaply in some of the towns you've been visiting. Look to buy goods that can be sold for around double or more in other cities. X8tS.
